Following the unprecedented year that was 2020, the team at Postgrad Solutions finally managed to meet IRL for a day of team building and a night of celebrations,. During this time we also held a brief awards ceremony to acknowledge. not one, but two key team members that have gone above and beyond duty in their roles at Postgrad Solutions.
Production Controller, Freya Tucker, was first up, being named as the very deserving recipient of the annual Employee of the Year award.

Describing the skills and dedication that Freya demonstrates in her work, Director and Owner Rob Houghton explains, “Freya has had an exceptional year in the Production Department and is very much deserving of this coveted award. Postgrad Solutions has seen a huge surge in client numbers, and with that comes an increased volume in deliverable products, placing extra pressure on the team to ensure these products are put live on time. Freya never misses a deadline, and on the odd occasion our clients do, she is always there to assist them in any way she can, often going out of her way to help. Freya goes over and above what is expected of her and is a real asset to the business. Freya is an extremely valued member of the team and a delight to be around.”
Freya was delighted to be named the Postgrad Solutions Employee of the Year 2021, and says, “I was really grateful to receive the Employee of the Year award. Over the last few years, I have taken on new roles within the company, some which have been challenging, but ultimately a great experience which I have thoroughly enjoyed.”
This year, in addition to our annual Employee of the Year award, we have also launched an Innovation award, and the first Postgrad Solutions team member to receive this was salesman extraordinaire, Gareth Driscoll!

Speaking about this new award, Rob Houghton explains, “Postgrad Solutions is continually striving to produce market-leading products, and with ever demanding customer needs, it is often hard to bring new products to market that meet the exceptional high standard for our customers and the users. Gareth single-handedly created the Postgrad Insights product, a bespoke online client webinar to help recruit postgraduate students. Gareth’s research into the current market conditions, client and students needs led him to create a pilot product. This product was tested in real time and has proved to be an immediate hit. This has now allowed Gareth to fine tune and evolve a product that delivers tangible results. Our clients simply love it.”
Gareth was really pleased to receive the Innovation award, and says, “It’s been an excellent few years for me at Postgrad Solutions and it has been fantastic to drive the digital platform for PGS. It’s allowed our clients to have a fantastic amount of exposure, as well as collate real data 😊”
