Postgrad Solutions’ Employee of the Year award is now in its seventh year – and with 2020 proving to be a difficult year for everyone, PGS Owners and Directors Rob Houghton and Katherine Mann spent a lot of time considering which member of their dedicated team deserved the title.
After much deliberation it was agreed that Account Manager Jason Cook was the team member that most deserved to be named Employee of the Year 2020. Jason has played an invaluable role in the Postgrad Solutions team for over three years and his work on the sales team is innovative and enterprising, as well as being of a consistently very high standard.
When he received his trophy Jason was delighted, saying, “What an honour to receive this award and be recognised for my hard work in such a difficult year. It was such a surprise to win in a year when so many on the team had made valuable contributions, many of which had even been pivotal to me being able to perform in my role. So I would like to thank all of my colleagues who have worked so hard and have been a part of my own success.”
Describing the reasons for choosing Jason for this coveted title, Rob Houghton explains, “Jason is extremely aware of the need for excellent customers service and always excels in responding to every need for his clients. He lends support and guidance to others and is forward-thinking in his approach to providing solutions.”
Speaking more about Jason’s key role within the team, Rob elaborates, “This year Jason has paid particular attention to the on-going customer requirements, none more so than in improving the business’s performance reports and effectively communicating these changes upwards. He has further encouraged collaboration within his team and always displays a harmonious and competitive spirit. These key attributes have made him our 2020 Employee of the Year.”
