Rob has 17 years' experience with postgraduate education clients. He started his career with Hobsons’ Education Team, in which he played an integral role in improving Hobsons' Education Business. Over the last 17 years Rob has managed marketing campaigns for over 50 UK universities, ensuring that their marketing is appropriate, value for money and yields a trackable return on investment.

Since setting up Postgrad Solutions, Rob has spearheaded the web development for our Postgrad portfolio, and has set up a strictly adhered to customer service policy to ensure we are the best in our field.

One of my key objectives when setting up Postgrad Solutions was to ensure that our customers were delighted by their experiences when working with us – I am pleased to say that this objective has been met. The objective now is to continually meet the high demands of our customers, and ensure that their experience with us is as good as it was from the very beginning. It is also essential that their investment in us is met with strong returns. Our management team has over 60 years of combined understanding and knowledge of the postgraduate marketplace, and as a result our customers benefit from working with true education experts, who are constantly striving to develop products to the highest standards possible in this constantly evolving market.

Katherine has been in the education field for 20 years, and was previously Group Publishing Director at Hobsons Plc. She has led the British Council Education UK publishing project, launched global student recruitment initiatives with NAFSA and Edexcel, and directed international student recruitment projects for UK boarding schools. Katherine has also worked alongside clients such as UK Visas advising them on research projects, as well as curating events and exhibitions for The British Council.

Katherine is responsible for company-wide business development and the marketing strategy for the online portfolio. She is also actively involved in account managing a portfolio of our clients, as well as being the Postgrad Solutions Data Protection Manager.

I am determined to offer our clients the high quality results they expect of a market-leading company, coupled with customer service that has a personal touch. We are constantly listening to both our clients and our students. It is this dedication to the market that will ensure that we deliver the results you are looking for.

Mike has been working in the publishing industry for nearly 15 years. He started his career working on education titles for the Daily Mail Group, he then went on to develop and grow a small publishing house called Solutions Publish. Operating mainly in the corporate business-to-business domain, Mike helped grow a number of titles and websites into market leaders.

Mike has a wealth of experience across a number of different industries, and has worked on everything from large sponsorship deals and running annual awards ceremonies, to publishing magazines and websites. He joined Postgrad Solutions in 2009 and is responsible for managing client accounts across Europe and the UK, working to help institutions hit their postgraduate recruitment targets through PGS products.

Having experienced working for both a large Plc and a small publishing house has given me a valuable insight into how the publishing world operates – and most importantly it has given me a complete understanding of how different kinds of businesses work. I was delighted to be able to bring my experience to Postgrad Solutions, particularly because of the impressive levels of customer service that they offer. Now that I am part of the Postgrad team, I can confidently aid any institution in achieving their objectives and generate good return on investments.

Charlotte has worked in the media industry for 18 years. She was the Media and Publishing Manager for Chartwell Ltd, a Russian company, for three years. In this role she liaised between a Russian publishing house and numerous market-leading Western publishers. She then trained as a journalist, and embarked on her new career, starting off at the Press Association before going freelance. She has worked on numerous consumer magazines, including; Radio Times, Heat, Arena, Cosmopolitan, OK, Prima, Company and Porter.

Charlotte joined Postgrad Solutions as the PR and Communications Manager in September 2009 – and has since been promoted to Managing Editor. Her responsibilities include overseeing all the editorial content on all sites, as well as publishing the postgraduate client newsletters, the Postgrad blog and updating postgraduate news and events across all of our websites for our clients.

I am passionate about education, and keen to ensure that any potential postgraduate students are kept informed of the latest courses, open days and any other exciting postgraduate developments. I regularly update the news and events on all four of our sites keeping them as up-to-date as possible.

Sam has many years of PA experience working for a number of blue chip organisations in the City of London. She worked as a Senior Legal PA for magic circle law firm Allen & Overy LLP before leaving to embark on her own business venture.

Sam joined Postgrad Solutions as our Production Controller nine years ago, and since this time her role has evolved somewhat and she is now our Production Services Director. In addition to loading copy onto the live sites and ensuring customer satisfaction, Sam is also responsible for invoicing and credit control.

I spend a lot of time guiding clients through the copy process as it is really important to me that each individual feels completely satisfied with the quality of service they receive. I believe client feedback is essential and by sharing such views with the rest of the team, together we can work towards the development of our processes and ultimately this will be reflected across our sites.

Gareth Driscoll joined the team at the beginning of 2017. He has worked in the education sector for over five years, and has built up great relationships with many educational clients across the UK and Europe. Gareth started off his career at Trinity Mirror handling local education accounts, and then moved on to Pirate FM in Cornwall where he represented the brand in Plymouth & East Cornwall.

Gareth has extensive sales experience and the ability to build strong professional working relationships. At Postgrad Solutions he is responsible for overseeing many of our UK, European and US university clients. He is also responsible for developing our UK and overseas university client base.

I’m really excited to be joining the team at Postgrad Solutions. Part of my new role is to think creatively about how and can really help a university or college’s student recruitment drive. With my strong creative sales background, I think that the ideas I put forward are guaranteed to be the best ones for the institution that I am working with. I spend a lot of my day planning and implementing strategies for postgraduate marketing. My favourite part of the job so far is demonstrating the strong evidence that the products selected for and by our clients have been successful, thereby maintaining and growing our client relationships.

Jason Cook joined the sales team at Postgrad Solutions in November 2017.

Jason’s background is in retail sales management where he has held a variety of different positions, including store manager for a leading mobile phone retailer. His extensive experience in customer-facing support makes him an excellent addition to the team. 

At Postgrad Solutions Jason is responsible for overseeing many of our UK university clients, as well as US and European clients.

Joining Postgrad Solutions is a bit of a change from my previous customer-facing environment, but after a couple of days with the team I realised what a great decision working here was. My role at Postgrad is ensuring we provide excellent service and exceptional value for money for all of our clients. The team is excellent and I have learnt, and will continue to learn a lot from them. They are all real ambassadors for the company.

Devon McRoberts is the newest member of the team, joining Postgrad Solutions in August 2018.

She started working in account management based roles straight out of university, managing mortgage accounts from open to close and beyond, ensuring that customers received an excellent service even after their accounts had closed. She then moved to Prague in the Czech Republic to train in sales which was an excellent experience and solidified her career path for .

Devon’s role at Postgrad is to generate new business, maintain current business and build trust with clients.

Joining the Postgrad team has been an excellent challenge for me. There is a great deal of autonomy and independence which makes for a really good working environment and enables you to push hard for your own goals. The audience for the company is very receptive which leads to better opportunities to build long lasting relationships with clients. I am looking forward to my future with the company and being able to prove myself within the team.

In the summer of 2016 our Sales Director Mike Dingle took part in the gruelling yet stunning 300-mile Cornish Coastal Challenge to raise over 10K for the RNLI. Go Mike!




Our chosen charity is Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). This charity raises money to enable Great Ormond Street Hospital to provide world-class care for its patients and their families. The money also helps the children’s hospital pioneer new treatments and cures for childhood illness.


Postgrad Solutions has previously held a fundraising week where each member of our team took part in a sponsored event to raise funds for our chosen charity. We also made a contribution to GOSH from our profits during the month that our fundraising week took place. We are planning on holding another fundraising week soon - watch this space!

Sam Ross and Sandy Bhangal spent 5 hours completing the 15-mile long Jubilee Walk around London, ending up outside Great Ormond Street Hospital. So far they have raised over £365!

Mike Dingle completed the Plymouth Half Marathon in an impressive 1 hour 51 minutes. This involved running for 13.1 miles, and according to Mike it is one of the hardest half marathons to do as it is rather hilly!

“It was really tough and afterwards my knees felt like they’d been hit by a cricket bat! It was however really rewarding to finish it and to raise money for such a great charity.”

Katherine Mann and Charlotte King cycled from London to Windsor in 4 hours. Their planned 37-mile route was slightly longer than they anticipated as they took a wrong turn at Egham and ended up battling their way up a rather large hill!

“We really enjoyed doing the cycle ride - it was a lovely scenic trip along the River Thames and through Windsor’s Great Park... Although the unnecessary detour up a huge hill almost resulted in a complete sense of humour failure! We are really pleased to have been able to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.”

Rob Houghton swam the length of the English Channel (yes that is an impressive 21 miles) in a swimming pool in just 11 hours and 45 minutes. He's now known as 'The Fish', although he's unlikely to be going swimming again any time soon! Rob has raised £490.

“I take my hat off to anyone who has ever swam the English Channel - 21 miles is a fair way driving let alone swimming! These people have got to be bonkers as well as very fit to attempt this in one go!!! I put in hours of training and was delighted at my personal achievement to swim it in 11 hours 45 mins over 2 days, although I don’t think I will do it again - my shoulders are killing me!!! I am delighted the people that work within Postgrad Solutions give up their spare time to raise money for such a great cause - it’s absolutely fantastic.”
