October 1 2009 will be a landmark day in the history of Company Law when the Companies Act 2006 finally comes fully into force. Prof Brenda Hannigan, LLM Coordinator for Southampton University’s School of Law, has been working on a new edition of her student textbook, Company Law, to be published by Oxford University Press in May 2009.
