Robert Houghton

Rob has 8 years experience with Postgraduate education clients. He recently worked as Sales Manager of the Hobsons’ Education team and played an integral role in improving their customer service. Rob has managed marketing campaigns for over 50 UK universities in the last 8 years, ensuring that their marketing is appropriate, value for money and yields a trackable return on investment.

Since setting up PGS, he has spearheaded the web development for our Postgrad portfolio and has set up a strictly adhered to customer service policy to ensure we are the best in our field.

Katherine Mann – Director

Katherine Mann

Katherine has been in the education field for 11 years and was previously Group Publishing Director at Hobsons Plc. She has led the British Council Education UK publishing project, launched global student recruitment initiatives with NAFSA and Edexcel and directed international student recruitment projects for UK boarding schools. Katherine has also worked alongside clients such as UK Visas advising them on research projects and has curated events and exhibitions for The British Council.

Katherine is responsible for company wide business development and the LLM portfolio.

Sandy Bhangal - Sales Director

Sandy Bhangal

Sandy has 10 years of experience in sales and publishing within the education and corporate recruitment marketplace. She previously worked at Hobsons Plc as Sales Director of the International Student Recruitment Division, planning global marketing campaigns with UK international offices. Sandy also has a wealth of experience in the domestic education market, managing market-leading products such as Springboard.

Sandy has worked on both large and small marketing projects for institutions. Whether it is launching a new course or improving global branding, she always prioritises return on investment and high quality customer service for every client.

“I want to give all clients the best service possible. By working closely with the institution I can achieve a detailed understanding of their requirements from the outset and am consequently able to provide really tailored marketing solutions. I encourage the monitoring of all activity and regularly evaluate the outcomes with the client, ensuring their campaign rollout is flexible and effective.”

Matt Tillett – Publishing Editor

Matt Tillett

Matt has over ten years’ experience of writing and editing copy for prospective international students. He has been the editor of a wide range of high-profile education magazines, directories and websites, including key elements of the British Council’s Education UK portfolio and The Hobsons UK Boarding Schools Guide. Matt is currently the Publishing Editor of The Postgrad Guide and the Postgrad and LLM websites.

Heather Parsons – Customer Service Manager

Heather Parsons

Heather has over seven years’ experience in publishing production, including three years working for the Daily Mail Group followed by a further three years with the National Magazine Company. She has broad experience in advising customers on supplying the right copy to make their marketing as effective as possible. Heather has been involved in putting together our customer-service policy and provides regular feedback on our client systems to ensure they are as user-friendly as possible
